In addition to Commissioner's House we have a real treat for those looking for an unusual & quirky location for a wedding ceremony.
Built on the River Medway at Sheerness in 1878, HMS Gannet was part of our nation's Victorian Navy policing the waters of the British Empire. She has been restored to her glorious 1886 condition and looks like a ship should look, including three masts and lots of rigging!
The ceremony can take place in the Captain's Cabin, on the quarterdeck or on main deck - an awning protects us from the uncertain English weather!
Couples can combine their ceremony on the ship with a drinks reception onboard, followed by the reception in Commissioner's House.
We had a wonderful day, it was just as we imagined! Many of our guests commented on what a perfect venue we'd chosen and everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves!![]()
